Since 1955, Junior Players has been empowering young voices and transforming kids' lives through the arts by providing arts education programs at no cost to our participants.

To achieve this mission, we rely on individual donations, government and institutional funding, and contracts and partnerships with school districts like yours!

Junior Players programs teach youth to resolve conflicts using non-violent communication strategies such as reflective listening skills, identifying emotions, and pivoting to non-violent solutions.

All Junior Players programs are based off of SEL (Social Emotional Learning) Tenets and are integrated with TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) objectives for grades K-12, including 110) English Language Arts and Reading, 113) Social Studies, 116) Physical Education and 117) Art, Music and Theatre. Programmatic options for Pre-K students are limited. Click here to review our current available program offerings.
